A four week ONLINE course exploring what lies beyond the physical practice of asana (postures) which we commonly associate with Yoga, and exploring the underlying philosophy. Each evening will consist of a short (maximum 30 minutes) of movement, followed by pranayama (breathing practice ) and meditation.

No experience is required. Movements are suitable for everyone and can be adapted accordingly. Breathing is accessible for all!

This practice will be followed by a discussion on aspects of the Samkhya and related philosophy underpinning the practice. No prior knowledge of this is needed.

The practices which I will share on the course are directly from my primary teacher, Steve Brandon, who practices under the Vinyasa Krama tradition and the Krishnamacharya lineage. I will explain more about this when we meet.

Should the sessions go well then there may be an option to continue to meet regularly to explore this little talked about aspect of the practice, which is actually what Yoga really is all about.

Payment can be by donation or some kind of energy exchange if you prefer. I do ask that if you join you commit to the whole four weeks.
