Ojas Golden Milk recipe

This drink is comforting, sweet, grounding and nurturing. The Turmeric is an incredible anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidant (and much more). The Ashwagandha is renowned in Ayurveda for being restorative and rejuvenative as well as relaxing. It promotes our vital OJAS or life energy and is incredible for our immunity.

I/2 teaspoon cinnamon

pinch or cardamom

pinch of grated nutmeg

1 teaspoon ashwagandha

1/2 teaspoon turmeric

1 teaspoon local honey

Twist of black pepper (important as this activates the amazing affects of the turmeric)

1 large cup almond, cashew or coconut milk (you can also use any other milk you wish of course) Mix the cinnamon, ashwagandha, cardamom, nutmeg, black pepper and turmeric in a cup with the honey and a little of the milk to make a paste. Simmer the remaining milk in a pan and add to the paste. Enjoy!
